Flags and Poles for Veterans

Flags and Poles for Veterans
Veteran’s Flag Pole and Flag

The American Legion, Post 363, Legion Riders are putting together a project to install a 20’ flag pole, an American flag and a service flag or a POW flag in the yards of our American Veterans. We are looking to do this at no charge to the Veteran. With this project, we will be looking for help from personal donations, corporate/business donations, and fundraisers hosted by the American Legion Riders group. We will be installing a concrete base for the flag pole. We will also be installing a dedication plaque to honor each Veteran.

Nomination of a flagpole and flags is an application to have the American Legion Riders of Post 363 cover the cost of materials and install a flagpole along with the American flag and choice of Service Branch flag or a POW flag. Applications will be graded into our point system and entered into a schedule timeline. Keep in mind, funds to cover this cost will need to be raised. Depending on support will determine how many installations we will be able to do each year so please get an application sent to us if interested in receiving this gift to our Veterans.

We are dedicating ourselves to honor every application that comes to us. Our only obstacle is funding and time constraints of our volunteers. We will diligently work to overcome these obstacles.

All donations are tax deductable! Please make checks payable to American Legion Riders 363.

Our First Year will be Monroe,Ia Veterans and Fred Slayden Post members only!
